Charleston Farmers Market

Opening in April for the season, the nationally acclaimed Charleston Farmers Market is ranked in the nations top 10 best farmers markets. Located in Marion Square (on Calhoun St, between King and Meeting St) the market features an assortment of arts, crafts and food. Local produce is plenty and varies week to week. As one crewmember told us: “It’s great to take guests or just go on a day off and watch the people.” Two other interesting points are that it is ‘dog friendly’ and as a certified roadside attraction, there is no sales tax! They open on Saturdays from 0800hrs between April and December.
