Newport Harbor Hotel & Marina
The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina has an impressive dock layout with 60 slips for transient dockage. This well appointed marina is ideally located in the northeast corner of Newport harbour - and is ‘home port’ of the largest concentration of the legendary 12 Meter America’s Cup yachts. It is a very popular destination for crewed yachts, with full service facilities that can accommodate yachts up to 220ft overall length and maximum draft 15ft, and they even have one slip alongside for a yacht up to 300ft with 18ft draft. All slips have 3-phase power up to 100 amps, water, Wi-Fi, free Cable TV and pump out facilities, fuel supplied by barge, and water taxis frequent the marina on a regular basis. All the floating docks provide ample space for berthing and the office staff are very attentive and helpful with any of your requests, offering mail holding, fax send / receiving and a FedEx / UPS / Airborne / Express Mail point. Mark Holden, the dockmaster, is always available to help, and makes sure that his guests experience a very pleasurable stay in the marina. The other asset of Newport Hotel & Marina is Newport Harbor Hotel facilities. Here, marina guests can enjoy exceptional full resort privileges, that have been recently renovated and now offer 133 beautiful rooms, including the use of their indoor heated pool, sauna and a spacious sundeck, with manicured grass and long chairs, overlooking the harbour. The onsite restaurant, Pier 49 Seafood & Spirits has outdoor seating, serving classic New England cuisine in their harbor view dining room and lounge which has live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening, in a convivial and family style ambience. We consistently receive excellent recommendations for the high standard and support services the marina offers, with one Captain saying: “I highly recommended Newport Hotel and Marina. They are really on top of the game in Newport, and are wonderful with owners and families.”
