Huguenot Memorial Park

If you continue up the Drive from St.Johns Boat Company (to 10980 Heckscher Drive), you will reach this amazing wildlife park, designated as a ‘Great Florida Birding Trail’ by the Florida Fish and Wildlife commission, due to the abundance and habitat of wild birds. It is advisable to call before making the journey as sometimes the park is closed due to weather, capacity or tide restrictions. It is a great place to explore by foot or bicycle, and the park is split into zones. Of particular interest are the critical nesting areas for terns, shorebirds and bar-tailed godwits.
