Association of Marinas of the Dominican Republic officially launches at FLIBS
The Association of Marinas of the Dominican Republic have launched at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2022.
The association has been newly founded by leading marinas in the country, such as Ocean World Marina, Marina Casa de Campo, Puerto Bahía, Marina Cap Cana, Club Nautico Santo Domingo, Club Nautico Monte Cristi and Dockside.
The various marinas have united to promote the attractions in the Dominican Republic, as well as to highlight important information about the country.
Jean Pereyra, director at Ocean World Marina, said, “The association’s mission is to consolidate the destination as one of the main options for yachtsmen and publicize the variety of activities that each of the regions of the Dominican Republic offers.”
The Dominican Republic is a popular yachting destination due to its geographical position, as well as its world-class fishing, marinas with top of the range facilities and luxury services. Having a co-ordinated association of marinas and service providers is expected to greatly enhance the yachting and cruising experience for yachts navigating and cruising across Dominican Republic waters
Dominican Republic Yacht Services, are also at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat show - supporting the association as official Yacht agency.
