A few weeks before the Oyster Fleet arrival, marina manager Zara Tremlett and her team will be busy welcoming yachts finishing the RORC Trans-Atlantic Race, a 2995nm race setting off from Marina Lanzarote on the 8th January, 2023.

The 2022 Race was a record year, with a fleet of 30 yachts, 100ft maxi Comanche setting a new monohull record of 7 days, 22 hours 1 min and 4 seconds - a challening record to beat!

Arriving in the last week of November 2022 onwards, will be yachts in the
ARC+ Fleet, one of World Cruising's Trans-Atlantic Rallies. Yachts will depart Las Palmas on 6th November 2022, bound for Port Louis, via the Cape Verde Islands.
The best known event in the World Cruising Club portfolio is the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), an annual rally for over 200 yachts running since 1986 - arriving in sunny Saint Lucia at IGY Rodney Bay Marina just in time for Christmas!

Due to incredibly high demand, World Cruising Club have three trans-Atlantic Rallies this Winter. The concept of the ARC – safety and fun across oceans – continues to offer thousands of sailors and families an epic sailing adventure in company.
