Record Breaking Rocket Ship Comanche smashes Transatlantic Record!

100ft super maxi Comanche has smashed the Transatlantic another Record.

On the 16th January, 2022, Comanche took monohull line honours in the 2022 RORC Transatlantic Race, after sailing 3000 nm from Puerto Calero, Lanzarote to Port Louis Marina, Grenada. 
It was a record breaking fleet on the start line, with 30 yachts and 256 sailors from 27 different countries!

The NEW RECORD is now set at *** 7 days 22 hours 1 minute 4 seconds *** beating the previous race record by over two days!

A phenomenal achievement...Congratulations to her skipper Mitch Booth & all her race crew.

Well known AC/ VOR sailor Shannon Falcone appears to be the one lucky person to hold this record both ways, being crew on Comanche in 2016 & 2022.
