New PYA Milestone: 1,050 Digital Service Record Books (D-SRBs) Issued to Date

Since the launch of the PYA Digital Service Record Book (D-SRB) earlier this year, the PYA has had a large number of requests from members to receive this new, ground-breaking record of their sea service and qualifications.

This has resulted in the issue of more than 1,050 Digital Service Record Books since mid-February to members from more than 60 countries worldwide. The Sea Service Team has also verified more than 1,900 testimonials since the beginning of the year.

“This is an important milestone for the association”, said Christophe Bourillon, the CEO of the PYA. “The D-SRB is a pioneering tool in our sector and the first of several new services and activities being developed by the PYA in our 30th anniversary year.’’

The PYA has been authorised by the MCA and Transport Malta to verify sea service, and has been doing this since 1994 for the MCA, a formidable track record!
