As per Government Directives from the Ministry of Health & the Port Manager in Palau, Yachts may now apply for entry into Palau, in Micronesia, in the western Pacific.

These stunning fascinating Islands and turquoise waters come well recommended as having some of the best diving in the world! This region has become very well known amongst visiting yachts for its wonders of nature – lush tropical rainforests and pristine coral reefs with an abundance of sea life, and the friendly warm welcome you will receive.

With Palau's unique island ecosystem being very susceptible to invasive species, there are now tight restrictions on what is brought in.

As of 2020, Palau has become the first country in the world to ban sun cream that is harmful to corals and sea life – so sunscreens that include oxybenzone and other common ingredients are not allowed to be worn or sold in the country.
