Superyacht Services Guide in Australia for ASMEX 2019

Superyacht Services Guide (SSG) is now Media Partner for ASMEX, the Australian Superyacht, Marine Export and Commercial Marine Industry annual Conference, that will be held at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Gold Coast on the 20th and 21st May, following on from the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous and preceding the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
SSG authors for Australia, Asia and Indian Ocean, Zara Tremlett and Marieke Derks will be covering the Conference as both media partners and eager delegates.
David Good CEO, AIMEX, Superyacht Australia and ACMG, along with Martin Redmayne, chairman, The Superyacht Report, will open the event with an overview of the local and international markets. As the peak body for the Australian marine export, commercial and superyacht industries, AIMEX continues to actively promote Australia’s marine capabilities on both the local and international stage.
Tremlett, of SSG, states “I am really delighted to be joining the panel addressing ‘New Perspectives on Asia; A strategic view on progress in the region from sales, cruising, chartering and infrastructure perspective’ ’’.
“I look forward to some stimulating dialogue with the other panelists, all extremely experienced and top of their fields; I am sure we can share some fresh information on the Asian markets”.
The theme for ASMEX 2019 is ‘Driving innovation and sustainability’, including a focus on environmental and sustainability initiatives, driven by the marine industry and latest innovations in this region.
Sustainability “a word on everyone’s tongues these days” says Marieke Derks, “and it is obviously a key factor for so many marine businesses. It is great to see that Andy Ridley, CEO, Citizens of the Great Barrier Reef will be presenting at the Conference”.
