Superyacht Services Guide Joins as Media Partner for the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous

Caroline Blatter

Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard (GCCM), Australia, again hosts an international line up for the Australia Superyacht Rendezvous, 17th and 18th of May 2019. Superyacht Services Guide (SSG) Asia team, Zara Tremlett and Marieke Derks, will be covering the event online and on radio as Media Partners off the Rendezvous.

The Australia Superyacht Rendezvous is attracting global visitors – from Monaco, the United Kingdom and USA, as well as Asia Pacific Regions. Trenton Gay, CEO of GCCM and organiser of the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous, says the event will showcase an impressive $200+ million of the finest and most luxurious superyachts, both motor and sail, currently in Australian waters.

The prestigious two day event will be promoting superyachts available for sale and charter, and Australia as an exciting Destination – with suggested itineraries for guests along its shores and the capabilities that exist within the marine industry for refit and yacht builds.

The Australian Superyacht Rendezvous will present the most comprehensive and impressive assembly of superyachts ever seen in Australia and it’s an exciting coup to have the renowned 63m Expedition Yacht SuRi joining our line-up of stellar Australian based yachts,” Trenton Gay commented.

Caroline Blatter, owner and co-founder of the Superyacht Services Guide “is delighted that SSG is Media Partner for such a prestigious event in the Australia Pacific region – with a bumper turn out demonstrating to the world how the region, as a whole, is growing as an international destination of choice, not just for charter, but as a yachting base.”

We are excited that through our new partnership with Superyacht Radio, Marieke and Zara will be covering the Rendezvous both online and on air – researching service recommendations for the Australia section of the 2020 Superyacht Services Guide to The Pacific, Asia and Middle East.

Alongside SuRi, participating yachts include Beluga and Silentworld, two yachts shortlisted in the World Superyacht Awards “Voyager’s Award”.

The Event itself kicks off on 17th May, with a valuable Captains Round Table discussion, followed by a new small exhibition “Micro Expo”, and finishing with The Superyacht Industry Event in the evening.

Day two sees a casual Yacht Hop and culminates in the Superyacht Owners and VIP Event, a glamorous invite only evening.

Partners for the 2019 Australian Superyacht Rendezvous include Benetti, Northrop & Johnson, Ahoy Club, Carter Marine, Fraser, Hill Robinson, Luxury Lodges of New Zealand, MEC Yachts, Ocean Alliance, Sealegs, SEAL Superyachts and Adagold Aviation, the private Jet company.
