One stop you simply have to make in the BVI, is a visit to Trellis Bay at Beef Island... to visit one of the most amazing natural arts and crafts shops throughout the entire Caribbean... Aragorn's Studio which is also a pick up point for Good Moon Farm’s produce - ‘farm fresh’ fruits and vegetables as well as being the venue for the Trellis Bay well renowned monthly Full Moon and New Moon parties, with live music, burning fireballs… and more!
A great highlight to coincide here, is their wonderful Caribbean Arts and Crafts Festival held in March every other year, where there really are a most superb selection of arts / crafts stalls, from exhibitors all across the Caribbean.
There are a range of marina berthing options with Superyacht dockage up to 300’, and easily accessible duty-free refueling; in addition ISATCO (see ‘Yacht Services’ section) can offer limited high security Superyacht dockage right in the heart of Road Harbour. Technical services are well represented too... Cay Electronics have great experience and knowledge in the field of high speed internet and satellite communications, and will even fly engineers to any Caribbean island for special assistance; there are provisioning companies with specifically dedicated staff to service the yachts, who will deliver special orders directly to any marina; a great Surf school; some fantastic, beautifully holistic massage services; great dive centres; top quality sailmakers, riggers and mech. engineers; a range of first class paint / varnish, refit / repair companies... and ‘chase boats’ that will help with any emergency mechanical repairs, and delivery of spare parts directly to yachts at anchor. You can hire the BVI Skydancers ‘Mocko Jumbies’ for a memorable evening’s entertainment; charter a private plane / sea plane / helicopter or VIP Water Taxi, or indeed Necker Island! Alternatively, head on out to the islands, and enjoy a relaxing day, a sunset cocktail and or dinner at one of the highly recommended restaurants and beach bars on Cooper, Peter or Norman Islands...
