Covid Seminar Review

We recently took part in an online seminar for COVID 19 run by Club de mar Medical. All of our crew were involved and this was done via Zoom.
The seminar covers a lot of ground from what is a COVID/SARS virus to what can be done to mitigate this disease. Jo’s approach is to try and debunk the myth surrounding the illness and concentrate on what is known and proven, she gathers evidence from a range of sources and gives advise based on current proven information.
Jo also talks about the various misnomers surrounding this pandemic so you’re left at the end with a deeper understanding of what it is, what we’re up against and how we’re going to practically deal with it, particularly from the confines of a yacht.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone hoping to operate during this period, getting reliable information has been difficult, Jo cuts the wheat from the chaff in a clear and direct manner and I’ve personally found it to be very instructive, this is a must for any charter boats.
