Andrew Blatter
Andrew Blatter has been working in the Superyacht Industry since 1988 - during which time he has sailed around the world and completed six TransAtlantic crossings in his capacity as Professional Captain, RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and STCW '95 MCA Class IV Master for yachts up to 3000 tons. He has also managed refits, a prominent new build, and has written as 'World Correspondent' for Boat International and Captain's Log for a number of years. In 2002, he went on to set up Superyacht Publications; for whom he researches, writes and publishes the annual Superyacht Services Guides to the Caribbean, Mediterranean and USA.

Mark Acosta
Mark Acosta is a Professional Yacht Captain, RYA Yachtmaster and holds a Bsc Honours degree in Economics. He has been working in the Superyacht Industry since 1994 - completing 9 Atlantic crossings, and sailing over 90,000 miles in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Europe and east / west coast of America... right up to Alaska. Mark has a well rounded background of professional experience - especially in the Caribbean region - which includes intensive chartering, major refits and an extensive knowledge of the island chain. Outside his professional work, he is a keen sportsman, competing regularly in OECS squash tournaments throughout the islands, and racing regularly on the Caribbean sailing regatta circuit. He now puts all his extensive efforts and experience into researching and writing the annual Superyacht Services Guide to the Caribbean.

Joe Naysmith
A marine engineer of 30 years experience, Joe has crewed both above and below deck on some of the most prestigious yachts of their time. Joe originally moved into the Superyacht industry after spending four years as engineer to the Jaguar Offshore Race Team in the U.K. Since then, he has freelanced as delivery Captain and Chief Engineer on a wide variety of professional yachts up to 200' plus, in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean. His seagoing experience includes the Atlantic Challenge Race of 1997 and numerous other TransAtlantic crossings; whilst shoreside works have included extensive refit projects... giving him all the right broadbased experience to really understand the needs of the Superyacht market.

Clare Sudlow
Thanks to her father - a sea-faring R.N.Commander - Clare spent her latter teenage years crewing aboard the family yacht throughout the Mediterranean. Having acquired sufficient sea miles by the age of 20, she became an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore; and following the addition of a Cordon Bleu Diploma, she soon found employment in the Superyacht industry. Over the following years in the Mediterranean, she gained wide experience in various different roles... as Deckhand aboard a 65' ketch; Mate aboard an 80' classic; Stewardess aboard a 180' motor yacht, and Chef aboard the very first Superyacht to carry a helicopter on her upper deck!

Kristi Chesher
Born to sailing parents, Kristi first sailed to the Caribbean onboard the 82' Fife ketch Isabelle in 1972, where she spent many years sailing with her family and living in the US / Caribbean. She was educated in the United States and holds a BS in Zoology / Chemistry, but due to her love of the sea and warm water sailing she moved to Antigua, WI in 1992 where she raised her family until 2007, when she relocated to Newport, RI and opened up CCS Newport offering yacht support.
Kristi has been working in the Superyacht industry for the last 20 years, which has provided her with access to a vast network of resources and contacts in the yachting industry. Her passion for travel has taken her all over the world by air, sea and land; she continues to discover new destinations and is currently researching and writing the New England & Bermuda regions for the USA Guide.

Mike Cox
Born and raised in Southampton, England, Mike has been sailing and racing on boats of one form or another, throughout his entire life. He has established himself as a talented and respected yachting professional, with a solid industry background encompassing Superyacht captaincy, yacht management afloat and construction projects ashore; Mike also remains an active Superyacht relief Captain and races on the Superyacht and Bucket circuits.
Beyond Mike’s 23 years of yachting industry experience, he also holds a UK Master License (Yachts 3000gt) and a BSC Honours degree in Engineering Geology. Mike also now writes and researches for the Superyacht Services Guides, covering the Bahamas chapter for the Caribbean Guide and the East and West coasts of America for the USA Guide.

Bob Goodchild
Bob Goodchild has been based in Grenada since 1990. He is a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors, International Institute of Marine Surveyors, an RYA Ocean Yachtmaster and a standards accredited member of the ABYC. As a qualified and active marine surveyor, Bob does a lot of travels throughout the Caribbean and beyond, and has an excellent first hand understanding of the needs of the professionally crewed yacht market. He has now extended his skills to working with Superyacht Publications, and covering the island of Grenada for our Caribbean Guide.
