HOTEL

This small hotel - owned by the highly personable Helga and Michael Sigler - has it's own restaurant, a good sized swimming pool, and is located on the Estate Mafolie hillside, with spectacular views overlooking the bay at Charlotte Amalie. The rooms are smart and clean, and all have Cable TV, a private bathroom, refrigerator and air conditioning. We received more excellent feedback for the hotel here, last year, and it’s easy going privacy and incredible location. Apart from the view, the restaurant at Mafolie was said to be charming, and came highly rated, with lots of evening ambience. The hotel provides a daily complimentary shuttle service to Magens Bay and downtown Charlotte Amalie; their rates were said to be very reasonable and the management, very friendly and accommodating. This came rated as a great place for crew to 'getaway' for the weekend, to relax poolside, and look down on the yacht from a reassuringly safe distance.
