This ‘ World Class’ Raffles Resort is large, encompassing 300 acres of grounds, with wonderful ocean views and a first class international 18 hole golf course (see 'Golf' section). Yachting guests and non-residents can make use of the hotel's facilities by booking a tailored, inclusive day or evening 'pass' and can also book a 'tee-off' for a round of golf, which includes the use of a cart. The hotel provides complimentary transfers to guests to take them up to the resort. Tennis, windsurfing, volleyball, watersports and even a dedicated children’s facility - the 'Sugar Palm Childrens Club' - are all on site. Also available to non-residents, is the stunning Raffles Amrita Spa, which features Palapa treatment huts, two of which are on stilts, located just off the shore in the beautiful shallow blue waters of the 'reef bound' Godhal Bay! (see 'Health / Beauty / Massage' section). There is a gym and work-out facility located on the main premises at Raffles, which even includes a boxing ring. Also - for evening entertainment - there is a casino, plus a choice of dining at four signature restaurants throughout the resort (see ‘Restaurants’ section). Their accommodation comprises of 156 luxury suites, nestled into the hillsides of the resort. There is also an authentic 19th century church, which stands right in the heart of the Raffles Resort, making a very special place for couples to 'Tie the knot' and then enjoy the most romantic and discreet honeymoon on site. This resort facility, set in Charlestown Bay, has a good dinghy dock for setting guests ashore to enjoy a drink or some light fare at the atmospheric wooden 'Pirate Cove' Bar - where there is happy hour at 1800hrs and always a good evening crowd, particularly on Saturdays when they have a live steel band starting around 1830hrs. Yachting guests are also welcome to eat ashore at their beachside 'Palapa Restaurant' for lunch or dinner, 7 days a week.
