Their provisioning dept. is also continually expanding; for which they have a seriously extensive Food Catalogue (which is also available on CD). We received another round of excellent reviews last season, for BOW Worldwide Yacht Supply; the company based in Ft. Lauderdale that carry over 20,000 different stock lines of yachting parts and equipment, for distribution to yachts anywhere, worldwide. They have a 40,000 sq.ft. warehouse, and are authorized distributors for over 350 manufacturers product lines. They have a high-tech sales and service dept. representing major manufacturers of stabilizers, watermakers, bow thrusters, electronic engine controls, marine refrigeration and air conditioning; and their engineering dept. provides parts for most major diesel engine and generators. All their stock range, and any other specialist goods, can be accessed and shipped direct to yachts anywhere by contacting their offices direct (see below). Manageress Terri Strauss, has been in the yachting industry for over 20 years, so has an excellent understanding of the requirements of professional yacht crews; as does her highly experienced assistant Charlotte Lewis. Past years have seen us receiving numerous consistently endearing referrals for this company, from a whole range of highly experienced Captains. The main focus of these referrals, have been based around the personal commitment, knowledge and understanding of the market, shown by Claire Miller in her dealings with the Captains she has served for the past 19 years.
