This company provides a full range of yacht management and construction / refit management services - with bases in Ft.Lauderdale, Palma and St.Maarten. They are independent consultants that provide impartial advice and assistance to both Captains and owners alike. They specialize in new construction, refit / repair projects; marina / shipyard design; technical solutions; plus safety management and media packages for the yachting industry.
They also do a lot of work on MCA Code-of- Practice, ISM and ISPS compliance and now Mini ISM’s... for which they came highly recommendedby numerous Captains that had worked through this process last season. We also picked up numerous specific recommendations for their 'Yacht Management' practices from various yachts last year. In addition to the yachting industry, MTS Yachts also operates in the commercial and military sectors.
Their senior management personnel have a Royal Naval background - each with over 25 years in the marine industry (more latterly as Yacht Captains). Also on the team, are a qualified Engineer / Surveyor, a Naval Architect, and their own DVD / Video production manager. They produce excellent safety training videos, fire and safety plans, as well as promotional sales / charter films on DVD, and some great promotional websites (complete with 360 degree interior 'tours'!) to give interested parties 'instant access' to the yacht. The company also played a leading role in designing and developing the exciting new Errol Flynn Marina at Port Antonio, Jamaica.
The team at MTS yachts have a wealth of industry contacts worldwide - plus extensive Mediterranean experience - and use their considerable collective skills and contacts to assist Captains and owners in a whole variety of ways.
