Virgin Island Yacht Services (a division of 'Deliver it' Inc.) is a dedicated Superyacht Services company, there to look after one's every need when visiting the Virgin Islands. The business itself is based close to Charlotte Amalie, employing 15 staff and with satellite offices in St Croix, is run by the highly experienced and committed, Steve Vasaturo. They also have an office at the Cyril E Hughes airport, and have now been in operation for over 29 years.

One of their mainstream services is organizing dockage for Superyachts right in the heart of 'downtown' Charlotte Amalie. Here, there are no size restrictions for yachts looking for dockage... they can simply drop a hook or two up forward, and come in stern-to. This continues to be a very popular location for numerous Superyachts - giving owners / guests a short walk off the yacht to some of the best duty-free shopping in the Caribbean... or the opportunity to visit one of the island's restaurants, art galleries, beaches or historic sights.

The 'Deliver-it' team will work with the yacht in order to expedite the most 'time efficient' Customs / Immigration clearance... for which they have all the 'inside contacts' and really know the best way to get things processed as fast as possible.

The one important piece of advice VIYS really recommend, is to call them prior to even arriving on island, so they can talk you through it, and give you the extra time to 'pre-organize' any specific issues. Indeed, they have in recent times been working
towards crew / passenger lists and ship's papers being emailed to them, for the ultimate speed 'pre- clearance'! Once berthed, they are then on 'stand-by' to offer their services to the yachts in any way required.

They have a saying that 'No request is unobtainable'... and also that 'There has to be a way!' They can act as the yacht's agent for any incoming freight; will organize tax free re-fueling, incoming wire transfers (then delivering direct to the yacht in US cash), spare parts / equipment sourcing and delivery, courier services, crew and guest's transport, gourmet provisioning, reservations at the best restaurants, and literally anything else one may require (including organizing trans-oceanic yacht deliveries, as agents for Dockwise Yacht Transport). They also have a 5 day ocean transit and storage service from the US; and a large storage facility for unloading any goods... for rental by the week, month or year. In summary, the team at V.I.Y.S. are a highly efficient and well respected 'one stop shop' for any professionally crewed yachts visiting St.Thomas, and for whom we continued to receive another round of highly enthusiastic reviews for their services once again last season...
