SAFETY EQUIPMENT SALES / SERVICE

This company, owned and operated by Howard and Janis French, is the largest of it's kind throughout the island chain. They have been serving yachts in the Caribbean from their base at East End, St.Thomas, for 25 years. Indeed, they now represent no less than 21 different liferaft manufacturers... which requires an ongoing commitment to be continually sending staff away for training updates / certifications.

This commitment to their staff, also shows their commitment to their business - and is doubtless one of the main reasons we continue to receive such positive feedback from Captains for the professional service they deliver. Indeed we have had a number of Captains telling us how they now plan their annual safety reviews / servicing to coincide their trip to St. Thomas.

Besides liferaft service and sales, Caribbean Inflatables offers sales and service of fire extinguishers (fixed systems and portables), hydro testing services (for SCUBA tanks, fire extinguishers, soda and water cylinders), emergency gear (incl. lifejackets, lights, rings, flares, EPIRBs etc..)

They are also sales agents for Achilles, Brig, Avon and Zodiac tenders (see ‘Outboard Motors / Tenders, Sales and Service’ section); and have a good stock of navigation charts.
