This restaurant came highly recommended to us by numerous yachts again last year. Run by Craig and Sally Darash and located in Frenchtown, Charlotte Amalie; this excellent restaurant / bar is well renowned for it's excellent food, extensive wine list, and personal service. There is a lovely, informal atmosphere – suitable for owners, guests and crew alike. Another highlight is Eric, their friendly barman, who is always on hand to help. Craig is a great host and really does go that ‘extra distance’ to ensure his clients have an enjoyable experience. Open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday 1730- 2200hrs, and lunch Wednesday to Friday 1130- 1500hrs, closed Monday and Tuesday. Contacts:
This very appealing, chic restaurant and cocktail / wine bar, located at Yacht Haven Grande by the waterfront, came highly recommended last season. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, Grande Cru offers well prepared ‘Mediterranean inspired’ cuisine served by attentive (but not intrusive) staff. They have their own ‘in house’ wine somelier who has put together a very interesting wine list for the restaurant and the experienced barman serves some excellent specialty cocktails. The ambience and style of the restaurant is contemporary with Art Deco elements. The venue is perfect for light lunches, delightful appetizer plates and ‘tropical tappas’ with sundowner cocktails at the bar, or a discerning evening for dinner. Contact:
The Oceana restaurant and wine bar has a wonderful location on the waters edge at Villa Olga just on the fringes of Frenchtown. Describing itself as an 'upscale Fusion restaurant' this establishment was well reviewed last season for its mix of quality fish and meat dishes and good wine list. They also have a unique 'Tappas Style' tasting table and can cater for special events on board your yacht, parties and also weddings. The waterside ambience at this restaurant is really special, and makes a 'must' to send guests and owners to. Crew too, would be well advised to check it out if they get the chance. They open from 1730hrs seven days a week, and also offer brunch on Sunday. Reservations recommended. Contact executive Chef/ Proprieter, Patricia Lacorte. Contacts:

This restaurant came highly recommended to us for it's fine Italian cuisine and very smart, attentive, well trained staff. Located on the road down to Coki Point, on the north east of the island; Romano's is run by Chef Tony Romano - who is passionate about his food, music and art, and even has a fine selection of oil paintings on display (and for sale) at the restaurant. This restaurant was recommended for their ‘Great Sushi’ and varied menu of good quality food. We received good feedback for the nice ambience in the restaurant with its pine floors and piano. Located at Mahogany Run. Contacts:
