MARINAS

An IGY marina, this property is located on the eastern end of St.Thomas amidst a relaxed holiday environment, and has direct access to the famous 'North Drop'- which boasts more Blue Marlin strikes per vessel, than any other location on the planet! The marina also hosts some of the world's most prestigious sport fishing tournaments, which begin annually in April. We picked up another round of good feedback from a variety of yachts last season, whose owners / guests had thoroughly enjoyed stopping by here on a cruise, for guests to browse the gift shop / boutiques and 6 restaurants / bars within the marina complex. The marina's location is also quite literally at the gateway to the Virgin Islands, where one can see a true archipelago of islands spanning the horizon from the mouth of the harbour. This makes it a very useful location to berth, pick up guests and then head out straight into the cruising grounds.

Also, shoreside, the Marina is equally well placed being just ten minutes drive away from the internationally acclaimed 18-hole Mahogany Run golf course, and is close by two supermarkets which offer volume purchase discounts to charter yacht customers - namely, the 'Marina Market' just across the street (see 'Provisioning' section) and the very large Food Center (Frydenhof, East End – see also 'Provisioning' section) both providing excellent provisioning. Other facilities on site include mail / phone / fax / internet services, chandlery, dive shop, fishing shop, laundry, video rental, banking, art gallery, spa services, gift shops, ice cream shops... and more! Three yachts also recounted how they had chartered sport fishing boats for some very fruitful days out on the water! (see ‘Sportfishing Boats’ section). The marina itself is manned by a very friendly team headed by manager Chris Petty... who are always ready to help out in any way they can. The dockage can accommodate yachts up to 110' with 10' draft, and have power, water, fuel, pump out facilities, telephone lines, Wi-Fi, and 24hr. security.

An IGY marina, at this wonderful location in the historic harbour of Charlotte Amalie, St.Thomas; Yacht Haven Grande Marina is now open, with the first of 47 megayacht marina slips now available. Service facilities include high-speed in-slip fueling, black water pump-out and waste oil removal; up to 600 amps of 3-phase power; Wi-Fi, 24 hour security; alongside berthing for yachts up to 450 feet and beyond; and 18 foot concrete docks and piers.

Situated in Gallows Bay, St. Croix Marine is a full service marina that can accommodate yachts up to 200' alongside (given prior notice) with 11 feet draft.
