This well stocked chandlery chain have stores at both American Yacht Harbor and Crown Bay Marina, and are part of the ‘Island Marine Outfitters’ regional chain of stores with outlets also in the B.V.I. and St. Croix – giving customers fast access to the widest range of products that Island Marine stock regionally. At the Crown Bay store, large polyform fenders can be found, large Racors and filters, and a good selection of cleaning products including Orpine boatsoap, Simple Green and Flitz polish. They also have a great selection of Sperry footwear. Besides all the more regular chandlery items, charts, and navigational publications, they also have a newly expanded outboard sales and service centre in ‘Island Marine Outboards.’

They are the Caribbean's only dealer for Bombardier / Evinrude and BRP Johnson outboards and are also distributors for Honda engines and parts. They offer servicing (by factory trained technicians) on all makes of outboard motors - for which they'll collect and deliver, or send a technician around to service it, on site. Their service centre is centrally located at the Independent Boat Yard in Benners bay. They are also distributors for Shell Oil.

Last season saw the opening of Island Water World’s latest satellite store in the new Yacht Haven Grande complex at Havensight. Managed by the very friendly and helpful, Kent Doyle, the store offers all the usual IWW chandlery lines, a great selection of the company’s ‘Own brand’ Dive Buddy scuba equipment and a simply fantastic range of fishing equipment with a huge choice of lures, Shakespeare rods and reels by Penn, Titus and Shakespeare. Other brands stocked in the electronics field include Icom, Garmin, Simrad, Navman and Uniden. ACR EPIRBS are available along with a good selection of safety equipment and flares.

The store stocks extremely large fenders to size F11 for the larger yachts. Also available on the shelves was a good selection of east coast US Charts. On the clothing and footwear front, some very nice light weight foulweather jackets by Jeantex are stocked along with quality Quayside footwear and ‘Crocs’ utility footwear. The store has a great selection of all the regular chandlery items that are customarily associated with the Island Water World stores, and their location - right next door to the Yacht Haven

This 3,200 sq. ft. modern chandlery, custom built in 2006, serves the Independent Boatyard (on the east coast road to Red Hook) and the Brenner Bay community. It is the island’s largest chandlery store and also has the widest range of boating products and brands in St. Thomas with quick access to further items via weekly incoming shipments from the headquarters in St. Maarten.

Manager, Paige Santiago-Passano leads an enthusiastic team; and Roger Lauer, chief sales person, has great product knowledge and is able to help with almost any problem or question. The store is open 0830–1700 hrs Monday to Saturday and 0900–1400 hrs on Sun.
