Echo Marine - Trinidad

Located in Mariners Haven on the north side of Chaguaramas Bay, this watermaker company came highly recommended to us as one of the best, Caribbean wide. Run by highly experienced owners Michael Bauza and Peter Spinn for the past 12 years, Echo Marine has a continuing reputation of high standards of services, installations, maintenance and good value for money. They design, manufacture and market ECHOTec. Watermakers, the leading desalination system in the Caribbean, with virtually any output. The image shows their Superyacht Series (check ECHO’s website www.watermakers.net for further details). Apart from yachts, Echo-Marine supplies oil rigs and large commercial vessels with their standard or custom engineered RO systems and therefore are used to working to the highest quality and commercial safety standards. They also service or upgrade all brands of desalination systems – carrying most parts and membranes in stock. Last, but not least, they are the Caribbean distributor for Jotun paints and antifouling systems (see 'Paint Suppliers' section).
