This Professional firm is a partnership between two UK trained / qualified Naval Architects - Zak Waddell and Basthien Pouthier. Associated Marine Design are agents for Ward and McKenzie, and offer a full range of surveying and yacht consultancy works, naval architecture, exterior design work, and long term project management. As the Caribbean's largest Naval Architecture firm, they have already been involved in a number of design projects; and came very well reviewed by a number of Captains we spoke with, for whom they have carried out a variety of professional works. They have also expanded their operations to include a custom composite pre-moulded fabrication workshop, which is fully operational for precision custom fabrication work (see 'G.R.P./ Carbon / Composites - Construction and Repairs’ section). For yachts considering any major refit works in Trinidad, they would certainly make very professional contacts to have, for any assistance one might require.
