Situated next to the Budget Marine chandlery on Western Main Road, Budget Marine Rigging has been operating in the capable hands of Manager / Director Niels Lund for the past 9 years. Niels first qualified as a Civil Engineer, before moving on to spend a further 22 years in marine manufacturing; he now uses all this professional experience in running a team of 5 trained staff. Between them, they offer a full range of rigging services... from nicopress, lifelines, furler installations, swaging to 16mm, all kinds of splicing, catamaran trampolines... right through to lifting complete rigs. SS and aluminum fabrication and hydraulic services are outsourced as required. They also do electronic testing of swages, complete rig surveys; and stock an impressive range of rigging hardware and running rigging. As part of the Budget Marine Group, they have access to company's broad stock range, at highly competitive prices. Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 0700-1600hrs.
