RESTAURANTS / BARS - CREW

Cafe Feel Oh! - Trinidad

Located in the Coral Cove Marina complex, Chaguaramas, this venue came in for some enthusiastic feedback for its really excellent lunches and dinners, which, we were told, are also extremely good value. Serving a varied menu which always features 'daily specials',

Cafe Feel Oh! also makes delicious crepes and one can choose from 30 varieties on the menu! The dinner menu offers was described as ‘International food with a Trini twist.’ Cold beer, wines and coffees, along with local juices and soft drinks are also served, and owner / manager Arlene Tilluckdharry, is only too pleased to welcome yacht crews to her clean and tidy Restaurant / Cafe. Open from 0730hrs - until... 6 days a week - closed Sundays.

Sails at Power Boats - Trinidad

We received good feedback for this well patronised crew bar and restaurant, with Pool table, large TV screen for sports coverage, comfortable outside terraced seating and dinghy dock access, located at the Power Boats yard.

Smokey and Bunty (Crew Bar) - Trinidad

Located in St.James, on the northern outskirts of Port of Spain. This tiny nondescript watering hole is in fact, something of a 'National Landmark' for 'Trinis'... and they often have 'sidewalk shows' starting up just outside the bar! Smokey and Bunty is pretty much open 24 hours a day and, like its clientele, is a kaleidoscope of activity. Spiritually sustained (quite literally) by its humanity alone (the bar being not much bigger than a bus stop!), Smokey and Bunty personifies Trinidadian '24hr bar culture'! We have had feedback that whilst the St. James 'boulevard' of bars is a fun experience when going out on the town, visitors should still exercise 'common sense' when they go out drinking there.

Squeeze Pub (Crew Bar) - Trinidad

Located on Ariapita Avenue in Woodbrook, is this even smaller venue, better described as a 'Tardis', really! It has a lot of character, attracts an interesting clientele, pumps out some great soca music, and is ideally situated close to some fine dining venues in Ariapita Avenue and also the 'Movie Towne' cinema complex off Audrey Jeffers Highway.

The Squeeze Pub came recommended as a convenient and easy-going 'hang-out' if venturing further afield from the Chaguaramas area.

The Bight - Trinidad

Situated within the Peake Marine Yard, this bar came well recommended by crews for its two pool tables, darts, large satellite TV screen for sporting events, air conditioning and informal atmosphere - with an outside terrace giving views right across the bay. Good value food, cold beers and friendly service.

Situated at Tropical Marine, this is one of the local haunts for 'Trinis' working in the Chaguaramas area.
