PAINT REFINISHING / GRP REPAIRS
Based between Peakes and Power Boats, Gerald Awon has been in the 'refinishing' business all his life. Having been trained originally to work with GRP, he went on to build custom fibreglass racing cars... and then racing power boats, prior to setting up his own yachting business in Chaguaramas. He has come well recommended by a variety of yachts, including the owner of a very high profile sailing yacht – that he’d completely repainted / refinished - who spoke very highly of the works he'd done. Gerald's full range of works include GRP, osmosis, gelcoat refurbishment; spray painting, polishing and buffing... though Gerald himself, still rates gelcoat repairs, and spot-repairing (spraying) Awlgrip as his specialities!
