This superb hotel and yachting facility was built to provide yachts a multi-function 'one stop shop' when visiting Trinidad. The Hotel is perfectly situated, overlooking the Marina to the front, with the Boatyard (Caribbean Yacht Works) behind.
They have 42 rooms and 4 suites at the hotel, which make for the most comfortable and convenient accommodation whilst overseeing a maintenance haul-out or refit (discounted room prices are offered to yacht crews), and all accommodations have air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-kitchens and telephone lines that one can connect a laptop through.
The four 'luxury suites' include a king-size bed and jacuzzi en-suite; though all rooms have private balconies overlooking the swimming pool, and access to facilities including a laundry, guest fitness centre and bar. The CrewsInn Yachting Centre as a whole, also includes the Lighthouse Restaurant, The Caffe Del Mare coffee shop and café, covered outdoor conferencing facilities, Hi-Lo supermarket, Republic Bank, travel agent, duty free liquor store, car rental and internet facilities - making it a very popular centre for professional yacht crews.
The further development of a waterfront bar was due for completion prior to the start of the 2007/8 season. They also have some exciting plans to add a new health Spa in the near future.
