Budget Marine - Trinidad

Centrally located in Chaguaramas, on the Western Main Road between Tardieu and Power Boats, Budget Marine Trinidad is an excellent chandlery with most things one could wish for, carried in stock. From hardware to electrical supplies; teak fittings, running rigging; paint / varnishing consumables, books and charts; pumps / motors; anchors; windlasses; safety equipment and a whole lot more... they really do have a superb range on display. Any unusual items can either be 'fast tracked' from the 'mother' store in St. Maarten, or special ordered to suit.

Selected major items such as dinghies, fridges, water heaters and batteries are available from their duty-free bond. There is a convenient, dedicated dinghy dock in the Budget Marine / Skinner’s Yard compound just across from Sweet Water Marina that allows easy and efficient access to the store by the ships tender. This dock is also a collection point for the popular “YSATT Shuttle”, which on request and at a small fee, ferries foreign visiting cruisers as well as local contractors from boat to boat and boat to shore and back within Chaguaramas Bay. The store is open from 0800-1700 Mon-Fri and from 0900–1400hrs on Sat.

Peake Chandlery - Trinidad

Situated within the Peake Marine Yard, this is an excellent chandlery with a broad range of stock including power and hand tools, electrical and plumbing spares, all the hardware / fastenings one could wish for, running rigging and deck hardware, electronics, safety equipment, fenders, household / cleaning and maintenance products.

Duty free purchasing is also available, and in Shawn Jardine, they have a new and very experienced chandlery manager, who is always happy to help.

Opening hours are 0800-1600 weekdays, and 0900-1300hrs Saturdays.
