Tobago

Tobago, Trinidad's pictureseque 'little sister' island is blessed with beautiful blue waters, unspoilt reefs, golden sandy beaches and some very pretty secluded bays and coves. With some wonderful diving opportunities and first class windsurfing and watersports options, Tobago also offers a good variety of engaging shoreside attractions - with plenty of possibilities to keep adventurous charter clients and crew alike, happily occupied and entertained. Whilst Tobago does not have the facilities or dockage, that Trinidad offers, Tobago does benefit from direct international flights, with the airport just five minutes away from the nearest good anchorage...and it's lovely blue waters and very interesting maritime and shoreside plantation history, really add value to any decision to spend some time here. Customs and Immigration procedures were also said to have improved in recent times, allowing yachts more convenience and freedom of movement throughout Tobago's waters - and with the Angostura Tobago Sail Week being held just after The Antigua Sailing Week, it presents a fun destination for the last cruise of the Caribbean season for yachts leaving the tropics for the summer, and also a workable option for the yachts choosing to stay in the Caribbean through the summer months.
