SHORESIDE ATTRACTIONS
Recommended as being, "Well worth a visit" - the hotel is set in well tended tropical gardens on a hillside overlooking the sea. The highlight here is a stop-over for afternoon tea at 4pm, when the hotel staff put out feeders to attract a wide variety of tropical birds, which duly come and feed in close proximity to the visitors and hotel clients. The birds have become quite tame and are quite happy to trade a virtual photo shoot opportunity for some easy food. There are some very wonderful varieties of tropical birds to be seen. Contacts:
This waterfall, on the way up to Hillsbrough Dam, came
recommended as a very pretty stop to make on an island tour.
This Trail came recommended as being "A fabulous hike" - from Arnos Vale Hotel across to Culloden Bay (Footprints Eco Resort) - along the Mot Mot Trail which was used during the 1700's to transport sugar.
