Atlantic Yacht Services was established in 2005 in Newport, RI by four professional yacht Captains Will, Lars, Peter and Justin, who have a broad depth of trade experience… from classic yacht restoration to modern racing yachts. Their ‘hands on’ experience has seen the company growing in an extremely positive manner. They offer high quality, professional services to clients in the marine industry which include Project Management - where they will oversee the whole project from start to finish, acquiring competitive estimates for each individual task, and making sure that each solution is fit for each scenario. Yacht Management – this service can be as simple as a weekly check up if the boat is unattended… to running a full race program, including all the day to day upkeep, race prep and breakdown, as well as organizing the logistical tasks and requirements. Marine Consulting – advising customers making important decisions - whether buying new or reinvesting in the current boat… they can give an experienced, unbiased opinion of what they feel will work best. Rigging and deck hardware – ranging from full rig overhauls, to splicing and winch servicing, or full deck layout design and installation. Other services to the Superyacht market include custom composites and boat building, carpentry, as well as general maintenance from plumbing to electrical works 12-24 volts DC. They came highly well recommended to us, for their excellent ‘first hand’ experience and assistance.

CCS Newport - Newport

This newly formed company with an office located in the Newport Shipyard, is managed by Kristi Chesher, who previously owned and operated Caribbean Concierge Services in Antigua West Indies before moving back to the States.

Kristi has worked in several different capacities in the marine industry including crew onboard yachts, Office Manager of Wayfarer Antigua Ltd, Dockmaster and Fuel liaison at Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Press officer for Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, Secretariat Caribbean Sailing Association, Secretary on the board of Antigua Yacht Club and yachting journalist for SYG.

With 18 years experience in the yachting industry, CCS Newport has a wealth of knowledge and contacts to expedite services requested. The concierge business is the wave of the future as time becomes more precious in the every day busy schedule of business owners, yacht Captains and crew, and CCS will be there to assist.

Visiting yachts will be able to offer their guests and crew a host of services that include: Yacht Support, private aircraft charters, VIP Meet & Greet, Biz-Jet to Yacht co-ordination, Event / tour planning, Dock reservations, Accommodation, Local Knowledge and Information, Banking needs (APA wires), Co- ordinate fuel bunkering stateside, Provisioning and shore side assistance for a variety of services. Kristi's services have come consistently highly recommended to us by numerous Captains for the past 5 years, for her extensive 'industry knowledge' and real ability to 'make it happen'.
