The company was established to provide turnkey electrical solutions for sailing and motor yachts. Teams of electricians are already established in Palma, Barcelona, UK, Dubai and the South of France. Location however, is not an issue as their teams are mobile, and with a pool of over 100 fully qualified electricians to draw from, your repair or refit can be arranged at a yard of your choice. MarinaNet Wire have a team of highly qualified and experienced marine engineers who work to top standards. Their services include the design, installation and maintenance of all electrical systems aboard. Power generation and distribution, engine control and monitoring, light systems, and navigation are just some of the services they provide. The main focus is the installation of systems for a long lasting solution and water tightness. Specialised in finding ground and electronics fault and damage control, they have served many boats in 20 years of working in this field. Top test equipment as thermal cameras help finding errors fast and prevent the danger of fire. They have installed numerous chargers and battery banks with monitoring devices. All their work progress, reports and photos, is stored online which can be accessed by the engineer at any time. Navicomm Marine Systems - Mallorca Palma

Navicomm are marine electrical/electronics specialists based above Port Adriano in the southwest of Mallorca. They offer their services to private owners, shipyards and manufacturers across the Balearics and further afield. Established in 1998 by Mark Wilson, Navicomm have since grown on the strength of repeat customers and a dedication to providing the best service possible. Last season saw us receiving another round of enthusiastic comments for their works, with one Captain saying: “Mark is 100% committed – great works all round”.

As authorised agents for many of the main brand names in communications, security and navigation systems, Navicomm offer a system design, installation and product support service, both during and after the official warranty period. They mainly work with the KVH range of satellite TV and communications products, and as main CSP (Certified Support Providers) dealers for KVH Industries, they offer a high level of installation and support to their clients.

Maritime Network Systems - Mallorca Palma

Having extensive experience with offshore telecommunication systems and VSAT from Norway, in 2000, Jan Holmen decided to establish Maritime Network Systems S.L. (MNS). The aim was to offer Superyachts the best telecom solutions available. From mid 2007 MNS became part of the Norwegian GIS (General Industry Systems AS) group. As GIS’ Superyacht division, MNS have full access to GIS’ wide-ranging resources.

MNS are providing complete design and refit of Superyacht electronics systems. Their main systems are Satellite communications / telecom, entertainment, and navigation systems… and their works came consistently well recommended to us during the past year. Parallel to their Superyacht services, MNS have executed high profile projects to both the Royal Norwegian Navy and to the Norwegian oil company ‘Statoil’. Furthermore, MNS have performed VSAT related projects on over 30 cruise ships and numerous offshore vessels worldwide.

Maritime Systems was established eight years ago by Graham Bradley. Graham brings a lifetime of marine radio, radar and electronic technical expertise to the industry. Sea Systems - Mallorca Palma

For any electrical / electronics works, this company came extremely well recommended to us as being a “highly efficient and knowledgeable contact to work with”. Company owner, Andy Ridyard, is a British graduate electrical and electronic engineer; chartered engineer (CEng) since 1988; who has more than 30 years professional experience – as a control systems engineer, through design consultant and project manager, to Managing Director of ‘high tech’ electronics manufacturing company, onwards to international patents holder.

He then went on to spend 2 years cruising the Med on his own yacht, fixing other yachts whilst market researching a new business opportunity. SeaSystems.biz was born out of this research in Summer 2009, to provide a new troubleshooting, repair and installation service for professionally crewed yachts. SeaSystems now have an ever growing Superyacht clientele market, and with Andy’s many years of experience he can tackle practically any of the hard problems and modification projects the Superyacht market requires. His services include: Genset, power and battery systems; AC/DC & shore power systems; marine electronics systems, plus any PC and PLC based systems from his industrial controls experience.

One Captain’s personal review for his services, tells the story well: “He’s very meticulous, knowledgeable and up to date in all electronics and electrical systems and his documentation relating to the work he’s done is invaluable. As well as being highly recommended for his work with watermakers, Erik Hansen of Echo Marine Service also came well recommended in the field of marine electronics. Echo Marine specialize in gyrocompass, autopilots, navigation electronics, TV systems and Satellite communications, and carry the Thuraya range of Satellite phones. They are agents for Furuno, Orbit, Seatel, C Plath and Anschutz gyrocompasses.
