North Sound Marina & Boatyard

Located at Crabb’s Peninsular on the north coast of Antigua, this impressive haul out facility is run by Tom Hellier.

This is a purpose built ‘state of the art’ boatyard in the hub of the Caribbean with a vast area of clean concrete hard standing serviced by a 150 ton Marine Travel Lift and up to 150 ton crane and a huge shed measuring 200’ by 120’ (built to Cat 4 specs,) to enable specialized work to be completed out of the elements. The sea wall offers literally 100’s of feet of ‘stern to’ and alongside dockage and the travel lift slot is 32’ wide with a 31' lift capacity. Ashore the electrical supply provides all voltages 120 / 240 / 480 (3 phase). Collection and delivery of tenders is also available.

Highly professional painting, engineering, GRP, fibreglass repairs, upholstery repair, and steel work are all offered on site with additional approved outside contractors welcome. Engine repair is offered on all inboard and outboard engines including Mercury outboards, Iveco, Suzuki, Hamilton Water Jet and Mercruiser diesel. Custom power upgrades are also available. Maintenance contracts and parts sourcing are also offered.

Fuel deliveries can be arranged, and throughout the facility the security is highly impressive. Crew are also welcome to carry out their own projects, and the bathrooms and showers are worthy of praise! Spacious, secure, covered storage is available all year round for cars, tenders, sails, trailers and there is plenty of space for container storage too.

Although not a marina as such, this comprehensive haul out facility on the Crabbs Peninsular in the North Sound offers fuel, water and power at stern to and alongside dockage
