Boston Bay

A trip to Boston Bay on the Portland Coast for a dip in the sea or some surfing (see ‘Watersports - section) came recommended in addition to sampling some of the famous Jamaican Jerk Pork and Chicken delicacies… as Boston village is said to be the birthplace of Jamaican ‘Jerk’ cooking. As a result, smoke (of all kinds) appears to emanate from just about all of the buildings… though the locals are very friendly and the Jamaican Red Stripe beer is always very cold – thus making it a perfect BBQ ‘pit stop’, whilst touring the Portland area. 

A versatile surf spot – with board rentals on the beach at a dilapidated “Surf Shack”.
