Goat Island Marina

Goat Island Marina is a deep-water facility located on the west side of Newport with 175 slips for yachts 250ft. LOA with a maximum draft of 15ft for all berths, both fixed and floating docks.

This marina offers serene respite just minutes away from the bustling downtown waterfront. We continue to receive very positive feedback for this marina and the service they offer.

Goat Island has a long history, which includes being home to a military fort during the American Revolution, and recently served as the host to the Tall Ships Festival and world-class regattas.

Amenities include showers and heads, satellite Television, electric hookups; 30 / 50 / 100 amp (single & three phase), pump out facility, daily garbage collection, water, Wi-Fi, concierge and FedEx services, dry cleaners, car rental, laundry and a crew lounge with internet and TV.

They have an easy access fuel dock, equipped with high-speed pumps that are capable of pumping 35-40 gallons per minute. There is ample parking located close to the docks, and golf carts are available to help with provisions and guest pickups.

Marina guests are welcome to use the Hyatt Hotel facilities also situated on Goat Island, that include a spa, hair salon, fitness center, outdoor pool, tennis court, restaurant, café and pub. 

The Regatta Place offers the ideal setting for special events or a waterfront wedding reception with on-site catering. 

As the only marina located on Goat Island, it is an island oasis connected to the heart of downtown Newport by a short causeway. Here, one can enjoy breathtaking harbor views while relaxing at your slip, or take a quick tender ride into town to enjoy the Newport scene!

They came well recommended by one Superyacht, which had deep draft and a fuel tank in a difficult location so went alongside the marina and had the fuel barged in.
